Handmade Recycled Paper Stationery

I love to use recycled papers to make interesting and fun stationery.  I usually add one of these little neat treasures to an outgoing Etsy package and get wonderful feedback.  They are fun and easy to make.  All you need is some blank paper, some fun vintage papers, and a sewing machine.  You can cut or carefully tear the papers (as shown) and sew together.  It's a quick and  fun little piece of art.  Enjoy!!

Bold and bright

Bright and beautiful patterns on some newly listed vintage favorites.  First, a pair of amazing and bold Cathrineholm of Norway bowls.  These are fabulously big and perfect for use and display.  Then, a set of the sweetest nesting..or matryoshka eggs.  Handpainted with a modern floral folk pattern.  Both available at Vintage Surplus on etsy.

A step into the old world

We had a wonderful time at Amadeus in Ann Arbor last weekend.  We enjoyed a wonderful brunch, lovely music, and inspiring old world interiors.  If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend a visit!
